How to Register to Bid at a JGM Auction:
Different registration requirements apply to timed online only auctions.  Those instructions are found by accessing AT OUR ONLINE AUCTION PAGE.

Please contact our main office at 425.486.1246 to register to bid on any of our upcoming auctions.  You can also access our registration information by clicking  After you are registered to bid, you will receive a bidder number and a complete catalog of items for the auction you are attending.  The catalog for each auction will also be available to download on our website.  Registration is free and easy.  All you need to register to bid at an upcoming JGM auction is a state issued photo ID.

How to Submit a Bid for a JGM Auction:

a.    In-Person Auctions and Live Online Auctions
There are various different ways to bid on an item at a JGM auction. First, bidders can bid on an item in-person at the site of the auction.  Second, bidders can bid by submitting a real-time live bid online by submitting a bid through their registered EquipmentFacts account or by clicking Third, bidders can submit an advance bid at an in-person auction by contacting a JGM office staff member. If you wish to submit an advance bid for a live online auction, you will need to be registered on EquipmentFacts. With an advance bid, you are authorizing the auctioneer to submit a bid on your behalf up to your designated maximum limit.  Note: All advance bids require a 25% deposit that is returned to you if you are not ultimately the highest bidder.  More information on advance bidding is found here

Use the following link to search our current inventory:  Please note, that we update our inventory on a daily basis. 
Our search function allows our customers to type in the specific and/or generic item they are looking for.  Our website will tell you more details about the item searched for and the specific auction date and location for when it will be available for auction.

How to Preview Items before you Buy:

Please check our auction schedule here: to find out when current scheduled previews of auctions will be.  
Preview lets potential bidders view and inspect an item before the date of the auction.  Please note that all items sold at auction are as-is where-is.  

JGM accepts cash, cashier’s check, visa and mastercard for payment of an auction item.  Personal or company checks are only accepted with a bank letter of guarantee.

Please note that removal terms and conditions vary per auction.  For specific terms regarding removal, please see your auction catalog.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All items are being sold "As Is, Where Is," With All Faults and without any warranties as to merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose. The principal, the auctioneer, the advertising coordinator, and any of their agents make no express or implied warranties of any type. Complete terms and conditions of sale will be available at the time of sale. All information was obtained from sources deemed reliable. NON-DELIVERY. Bidders agree that the James G. JURISDICTION & VENUE. Bidder agrees that the jurisdiction and venue shall be King County, Washington in any action concerning bidder and James G. Murphy Co. or it’s agents.
